 Membership is an investment that starts with you:

The 2027 annual membership fee for MCAAP is $1,242.00. You can pay this amount in full via a personal check, or opt for automatic payroll deductions. Deductions will be split across 20 pay periods ($62.10 per period) running from September 2026 through June 2027. Your MCAAP membership deduction fee includes $106.20, which covers your national membership with the American Federation of School Administrators (AFSA-Local 146), an AFL-CIO affiliate.

In addition to membership deductions, all MCAAP members contribute one day (8 hours) of personal leave each year to fund the MCAAP Administrative Leave Bank. The MCAAP Administrative Leave Bank supports our full-time President, Union Business Leave (UBL), and some professional development travel funds.

MAESP/NAESP Annual Dues: Principals $475; APs $425

MASSP/NPA Annual Dues: $390

• Maryland/National Association of Secondary School Principals is the joint state and national professional group of middle and high school administrators. Learn more by visiting: www.mdmassp.org or www.nassp.org

NOTE: Dues-paying members who retire or leave MCPS before June 12, 2027, will owe the full amount of membership dues directly to the Maryland/National organization.
