MCAAP Members arrived in style to our Annual Fall Membership Meeting, and left no Crumbs when it came to the Sneaker Showdown.  

Spetember 18, 2025, marked our offical Kick- Off Reception and commemorative celebration for MCAAP's newest chapter for MCPS Retired Administrators and Principals.

Labor Day exists because generations of workers stood up for safe workplaces, fair pay, time to rest, and the right to be heard.

August 26,2025 marked the official first day for Montgomery County Public School's 160,000+ students. 

Our dedicated leaders at MCAAP have been on the move visiting our valued Principals, Administrators and school staff as they welcomed in new students, team members, and returning faces throughout the school hallways. MCAAP is excited to continue serving our educational community by helping grow and shape the future of our schools and the lives of thousands of students in Montgomery County. 

The Board has approved the new collective bargaining agreement with MCAAP for the 2025–2028 school years!


Ratified by MCAAP members, the agreement promotes fairness, transparency, and professional excellence for MCPS administrators and principals. MCAAP President Dr. Christine Handy called this moment a "milestone for collaboration and progress." 

A new academic year brings with it a renewed sense of purpose and possibility. Our students return with open hearts, curious minds, and boundless potential.

MCAAP Leaders attended the 17th Triennial Consitutional Convention last month and MCAAP's very own President Dr. Christine Handy has been named as one of their newly elected General Vice Presidents.

Dr. Handy's dedication to our members has always extended beyond the walls of her office, her advocacy and knowledge continues to over flow and contribute to school leaders on a national level. Congratulations Dr. Handy!
